/ What people come with

PEOPLE COME NOT WITH A DIAGNOSIS
BUT WITH A SENTENCE

This is how it sounds at the first meeting — word for word, the way Mykyta’s clients put it.

  • Knee — «I can walk, but after 5–10 minutes my leg starts to hurt»
  • After surgery — «I am afraid to load the knee again», even though the doctor has cleared it
  • Stairs and sitting — «I cannot go down stairs properly», «the knee stiffens up after sitting»
  • Running — «After a certain distance my shin starts burning»
  • Delayed pain — «After training everything seems fine, and a few hours later the pain is back»
  • Back and neck — «I wake up completely stiff», «I cannot sit for long», «after load my back seems to lock up»
  • Sport — «I want to get back to running», «I want to play football again», «I want to punch without fear»
  • Recurrence — «I want to understand why the pain comes back after every session»

In medical terms:

  • Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) tears and meniscus damage
  • After surgery and joint replacement
  • Scoliosis, kyphosis, lordosis
  • Flat feet, plantar fasciitis, hallux valgus

«It matters not just to remove the pain. You have to understand why a person cannot do what is important to them, and give that back — in everyday life, at work or in sport»

CALL HIM BY NAME

Four reviews from our Google profile mention Mykyta — all five stars. We did not order them and did not edit them. The people are different: a knee after injury, a return to training, a child, a serviceman.

PAIN GOES AWAY BEFORE
RECOVERY IS FINISHED

Mykyta repeats this to everyone: the pain will go, but you cannot stop at that stage. Pain that has gone does not mean you have recovered. Quit now and it comes back.

«And I really dislike recurrences — it means I did my job badly»

Mykyta, on his work

People reach him later than they could. Most often by one of three routes:

  • They ask an AI about their symptoms and follow its advice — and make things worse
  • They do nothing and put up with it
  • They treat the symptom: «my back hurts so I go for massage, it used to help and now it does not»

The sooner you start working with the cause, the sooner the symptom goes.

«First a person shows where it hurts and on which movements. And I know I have done my job when one day I load that same part of the body aggressively — and there is no pain, and it is not felt at all»

WHEN YOU NEED A DOCTOR,
NOT A REHABILITATION SPECIALIST

Mykyta does not do aggressive spinal manipulation or other methods where there is a chance of doing harm. And he honestly sends you to a doctor when he sees this.

  • Pain of unclear origin
  • Pain that appeared after a serious injury
  • Marked weakness
  • Altered sensation
  • Coordination problems
  • Bladder problems
  • Other atypical symptoms
  • Suspicion of a condition requiring medication or surgery

«Sometimes the most correct decision is to say in time: right now you need a doctor, not a rehabilitation specialist»

Mykyta, on the limits of his work

And once medical risks are ruled out, he takes on the task of returning the person to movement, work or sport.

/ Outside the clinic

CAPOEIRA, FOOTBALL
AND AN EVENING WITH HIS WIFE

He does not drink or smoke. He used to do capoeira and play football. Now it is ten-hour days, constant study and family life — less time for sport, and that is a conscious choice.

«I would rather skip one session and spend the evening with my wife»

Mykyta, on priorities

Family always comes first.

/ First step

START WITH A MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT,
NOT WITH A DIAGNOSIS

At the first meeting you show where it hurts and on which movements, and Mykyta decides with you what happens next.

/ Questions

What people ask most often

The questions Mykyta hears at consultations. The answers are in his words.

It stopped hurting — can we finish?+

No. Pain goes before recovery is finished. Pain that has gone does not mean you have recovered — you cannot stop at that stage. Quit now and it comes back. And I really dislike recurrences: it means I did my job badly.

Should I see a doctor first or come straight to you?+

I will tell you myself if a doctor is needed. I refer when the pain is of unclear origin or appeared after a serious injury, when there is marked weakness, altered sensation, coordination or bladder problems, other atypical symptoms — or when a condition may need medication or surgery. Sometimes the most correct decision is to say in time: right now you need a doctor, not a rehabilitation specialist. Once medical risks are ruled out, I take on the task of getting you back to movement, work or sport.

I already asked an AI about my symptoms and did the exercises. Is that bad?+

People come like that often — and most often they have made things worse. The second common option is to do nothing and put up with it. The third is to treat the symptom: «my back hurts so I go for massage, it used to help and now it does not». The sooner you start working with the cause, the sooner the symptom goes.

Will you crack my spine?+

No. I do not do aggressive spinal manipulation or other methods where there is a chance of doing harm.

Can I just keep training with you, for myself, once rehabilitation is over?+

Yes. People ask me this often and I always agree. Rehabilitation does not end at the last visit — you can stay and keep training.
