Rehabilitation and physical therapist
Guides recovery after injuries and surgery: the whole leg including the pelvis, the foot and spinal conditions.
The first visit is a movement assessment, not a prescription of procedures. Consultation UAH 2,000, no prepaid packages.
/ What people come with
This is how it sounds at the first meeting — word for word, the way Mykyta’s clients put it.
In medical terms:
«It matters not just to remove the pain. You have to understand why a person cannot do what is important to them, and give that back — in everyday life, at work or in sport»
Mykyta, on the goal of the work/ Reviews
Four reviews from our Google profile mention Mykyta — all five stars. We did not order them and did not edit them. The people are different: a knee after injury, a return to training, a child, a serviceman.
«A big separate thank you to my physical therapist Mykyta Shutov! He always explained every step, answered all my fussy questions and watched my technique. There is always a friendly atmosphere and good humour that makes recovery easier.»
Даріна ПоповаKnee after injury«I am impressed by his professional approach: everything is precise, competent, with an understanding of biomechanics and anatomy. The program was adapted to my goals and the load was controlled at every stage. Thanks to Mykyta I not only got rid of the discomfort but returned to active training much faster than expected.»
Дарья ОчигаваReturn to training«At the first consultation he saw everything on the X-ray, explained the situation in detail and built an effective training program. Mykyta is always attentive, watches every movement my child makes, supports her and jokes cheerfully at the same time. My daughter is delighted.»
Євдокія ГоліцинаChild«A good person and a professional. Very grateful for the professional approach, for taking into account the finest details of the injury and for not going easy on me in training.»
Максим ВегнерServiceman/ Path

/ Approach
Mykyta repeats this to everyone: the pain will go, but you cannot stop at that stage. Pain that has gone does not mean you have recovered. Quit now and it comes back.
«And I really dislike recurrences — it means I did my job badly»
Mykyta, on his workPeople reach him later than they could. Most often by one of three routes:
The sooner you start working with the cause, the sooner the symptom goes.
«First a person shows where it hurts and on which movements. And I know I have done my job when one day I load that same part of the body aggressively — and there is no pain, and it is not felt at all»
Mykyta, on how he measures the result/ Boundaries
Mykyta does not do aggressive spinal manipulation or other methods where there is a chance of doing harm. And he honestly sends you to a doctor when he sees this.
«Sometimes the most correct decision is to say in time: right now you need a doctor, not a rehabilitation specialist»
Mykyta, on the limits of his workAnd once medical risks are ruled out, he takes on the task of returning the person to movement, work or sport.
/ Outside the clinic
He does not drink or smoke. He used to do capoeira and play football. Now it is ten-hour days, constant study and family life — less time for sport, and that is a conscious choice.
«I would rather skip one session and spend the evening with my wife»
Mykyta, on prioritiesFamily always comes first.

/ First step
At the first meeting you show where it hurts and on which movements, and Mykyta decides with you what happens next.

/ Questions
The questions Mykyta hears at consultations. The answers are in his words.
No. Pain goes before recovery is finished. Pain that has gone does not mean you have recovered — you cannot stop at that stage. Quit now and it comes back. And I really dislike recurrences: it means I did my job badly.
I will tell you myself if a doctor is needed. I refer when the pain is of unclear origin or appeared after a serious injury, when there is marked weakness, altered sensation, coordination or bladder problems, other atypical symptoms — or when a condition may need medication or surgery. Sometimes the most correct decision is to say in time: right now you need a doctor, not a rehabilitation specialist. Once medical risks are ruled out, I take on the task of getting you back to movement, work or sport.
People come like that often — and most often they have made things worse. The second common option is to do nothing and put up with it. The third is to treat the symptom: «my back hurts so I go for massage, it used to help and now it does not». The sooner you start working with the cause, the sooner the symptom goes.
No. I do not do aggressive spinal manipulation or other methods where there is a chance of doing harm.
Yes. People ask me this often and I always agree. Rehabilitation does not end at the last visit — you can stay and keep training.
